Exam Requirements
- The MCSE candidate must pass four exams, which cover the three elements of Windows Server 2003–environment, server infrastructure and active directory infrastructure. The candidate must also pass one operating system exam–Microsoft suggests the most recent operating system–and one elective exam.
- An MCSE’s job duties depend on his role within a company. MCSEs may work as network and system administrators, or as network architects. They may also configure computers on the network and perform end-user support.
